Feadship is unique in creating world-class, exquisite custom-designed superyachts for an extremely demanding clientele from all over the globe. There are yachts and there are Feadships.

The Refit & Services department is responsible for carrying out service, conversion and maintenance projects on the extensive Feadship fleet. The team is involved in relationship management and aftermarket support processes with the aim satisfying the clients’ needs and deliver the very best Feadship experience in maintaining, repairing and rebuilding their superyacht. By being extremely extremely agile and flexible in supporting the owners, captains, crew and other representatives while representing the iconic heritage of Feadship, we operated in a high demanding and fast paced environment.

In order to further develop our support organization, we are looking for a:

Project Manager


What are you going to do?

As a project manager in our team, you will be responsible to oversee a portfolio of mainly IT projects, focused on the development and improvement of our refit & services activities. You will be one of the key members of our future Project Management Office, contributing for its implementation.

You will work closely with stakeholders, including internal clients, product owners, contractors and partners, to identify and determine our goals and determine a scope and strategize a plan to achieve those goals, building the project charter following the PMBOK guidelines. You will identify resources and key members, determine timelines, schedules and agree on deliverables and deadlines. You will then continuously inspect and follow the day to day evolution of the projects in the portfolio and report back to stakeholders and sponsors. You will understand change requests, evaluate pros and cons, review plans when necessary and accommodate improvements. You will also organize entry into service and handover, organizing presentations and training sessions, including creating the training material, when applicable. You will attend post-project debriefing sessions with the internal clients and report project results to management.

For this position, we expect you to be:

  • Communicative and proactive.
  • Project oriented, have strong self organization skills.
  • Trained in PMBOK Guide and Agile project management via Jira.
  • Skilled in Salesforce implementation and improvement projects.
  • Knowledgeable of Magento and other e-commerce tools as well as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiar with implementation of ERP software and PMO organizations.
  • Fluent in English, speaking & writing.

Flexibility to work from the office at Hoofddorp, from the Feadship shipyards in Aalsmeer, Amsterdam, Kaag and Makkum and to travel abroad.

A 40-hour per week full-time job in an innovative and exciting, jovial and dynamic work environment with an attractive compensation package and good work-life balance.

  • Main workplace at Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.
  • Compensation is scaled according to the Metalektro collective labor agreement;
  • 40 days off per year for full-time employment (27 vacation days plus 13 ATV days);
